Impossible Distance #281

A structure, once whole, has split. Shadows reach from one side to the other in a futile attempt to bridge the gap. The impossible distance from here to there is too far to judge. The light indicates a moment in time, as if the sides could still be moving. But are they drifting apart or will they come back together?
