Desert Women of Thar

This Art Piece is from my first Art Collection **"Colors Of Pakistani Culture"** made in Cubism art style. **Collection Description: ** This cubism art collection is a flash of Pakistani culture. Each piece of art showcases a different picture of Pakistan, its culture, traditions, and history. Every piece can have multiple interpretations and it’s up to the viewer to interpret it the way they want. **Art Description:** It is not an easy life, living in the Tharparkar, Sindh... Water is a very scarce resource and has to be fetched from Kilometers away on foot. In traditional Thar society, it is the women that perform that duty. On a typical day, you would see groups of women walking single file, fetching water from a central handpump or water stream. Interesting fact: men often marry more than one wife to increase their capacity for fetching water.
