Proud to share that the @SECGov has issued @DoubleZero a No-Action Letter for 2Z. 🦅🇺🇸 The first-of-its-kind No-Action Letter gives us confidence that 2Z does not have to register as a class of “equity securities” and that programmatic flows of 2Z on the DoubleZero network are not securities transactions. This represents four months of constructive engagement with the SEC to establish a clear framework for compliant token launches in America, and a landmark moment for the crypto industry. ↓

3/ For the @DoubleZero project and its stakeholders, this letter means that the SEC will not recommend an enforcement action surrounding 2Z token flows within the @DoubleZero network. Consequently, DoubleZero Foundation feels confident that: 1. Securities laws do not apply to programmatic distributions of 2Z token for the @DoubleZero network. 2. 2Z does not need to be registered as a class of equity securities. 3. Contributors can receive 2Z without fear of being caught in an unregulated securities transaction. 4. Users can use the network without fear of being caught in an unregulated securities transaction.

4/ The 2Z token powers value transfer, incentives, and security across the @DoubleZero network. 2Z derives its value directly from the resources contributors provide to the network, resulting in rewards being tied to contributors’ own actions.
